Georgina Brown
Account Manager
In her 5-plus years with Focus, George has acquired considerable experience working in project and account management and running operational campaigns, specialising in the field of institutional change, particularly within the armed forces. She has a wide knowledge-base gained from outreach, training and campaign management within both public and private sector organisations at a national level. She has worked with a wide range of executives including military and government personnel, and has successfully led teams in both strategic and operational engagements. Prior to her current role, Georgina worked in the media as a news journalist and presenter.
Andy Cadogan
Business Development Manager/Consultant
Andy has been with Focus since 2001. In addition to his work in business development, he has been involved with the management and delivery of training projects, the facilitation of workshops, and strategy development. His knowledge of both ethnic minority communities and the business world enable him to successfully align different needs and expectations. His excellent communication skills complement the strong customer service attitude developed particularly during his time as a trainer in the customer services department at BUPA.
Felicity Kabuzi
Senior Consultant
Felicity brings to the Focus team over eighteen years’ experience of management consultancy in both the private and public sectors. Fluent in four languages and an Associate Member of the Institute of Linguists, she has strong financial, analytical and creative skills and a proven track record in team-building, performance management, training and facilitation, as well as policy, functional strategy and business development. She has a passion for the creative arts and particularly for film-making, which she has successfully employed in her project management work with Connexions and as a voluntary youth mentor with Youth at Risk, inspiring young people to set and achieve both life and academic goals. She has also extended her work with young people to include life coaching for adults, bringing a dynamic, creative and holistic approach to whole family and business mentoring.
Satwant Kaur
Senior Consultant
Satwant has extensive experience in the development and implementation of learning and development programmes and has conceived, designed and developed key training and facilitation programmes for clients both in government and in the public, private, voluntary and community sectors. Prior to becoming a consultant, she worked in a management capacity in the field of equalities and diversity with several local authorities, where she was responsible for the incorporation of equalities into policy, the development of equality strategies and the provision of advice and support to senior managers. A trained solicitor, Satwant has also worked as a senior external investigator into harassment and bullying issues and as a lecturer at London University for the diversity module of their BSc course in Criminal Justice.
Denise Peters
Accounts Controller
Based at the company's Head Office in Wiltshire, Den is responsible for all aspects of financial accounting (sales, purchase and nominal ledgers), budgeting, costing, variance analysis, acquisition / depreciation / disposal of assets, and payroll. A member of Focus since 1996, she is particularly skilled at customer relations and is a committed and enthusiastic team-player.
Karima Zahi
Learning and Development Manager
Based in our Brussels office, Karima has in-depth knowledge and experience of issues connected with diversity, anti-discrimination, human rights and European social policy and is highly experienced in managing the design, delivery and evaluation of tailor-made training and facilitation courses, train-the-trainer programmes and materials, both in English and French. During her career to date, she has been able to apply her particular expertise in the fields of anti-discrimination awareness-raising, policy development and diversity management in the private sector and public sectors in international organisations across Europe. Her experience in diversity audits and research has enabled her to develop an analytical perspective on the strategic implications of diversity for organisations seeking to introduce cultural change through the development of policy, practical tools and good practice. Karima has also held several key appointments as Adviser, Non-Executive Director and Chair of a number of public and community-based organisations in Northern Ireland, Great Britain and the Republic of Ireland.
